Money Withdrawal is available at a bank in which you do not have an account

Money withdrawal service is going to be started for evacuees whose bank in which they have their bank account is not accessible from a shelter.
The service is available for evacuees that have accounts at the following banks: Kirayaka Bank, Kita-Nihon Bank, Sendai Bank, Fukushima Bank, and Daito Bank. (As of April 3. Banks will be added.)
If you have a bank account at the banks above, you can withdraw money up to 100,000 yen a day at following banks (As of April 3. Banks will be added):
Hokuyo Bank (Hokkaido), Towa Bank (Gumma), Tochigi Bank (Tochigi), Keiyo Bank (Chiba) , Higashi-Nihon Bank (Tokyo), and thirty two other banks: service starts on Wednesday, April 6th
Mizuho Bank, Mitsubishi-Tokyo UFJ Bank, Mitsui-Sumitomo Bank, Risona Bank, AEON Bank and sixty other banks: service starts on Friday, April 8th
You are supposed to present a bankbook, an inkan (seal), and an identification document such as a driver’s license if you would like to withdraw money. Even if these documents are lost, withdrawal is available as long as you are able to identify yourself. Please ask suggested banks for further information. Availability information will be announced on the Japan Bankers Association website. http://www.zenginkyo.or.jp/
If you would like to withdraw money, please ask local government officials or a person in charge of the shelter.
