Registration for “Nationwide Evacuees’ Information System”

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications have launched “Nationwide Evacuees’ Information System” in order to grasp actual conditions of evacuees. Local governments can provide evacuees with information about the followings after they register for the system.

○Notice of various benefits such as relief money 

○Reissue of national health insurance cards

○Notice of premium reduction or exemption, respite, extension of a deadline and so on

Registration is accepted at a local government office outside of disaster areas. Please write your name, date of birth, gender, address before evacuation and shelter location (evacuation center or private house) in a form of “Evacuees Information Service” which is distributed at a local government office.
